It’s been months since our last podcast, and it took another week after recording to actually get the damn thing online, but here it is; another Dead Beak podcast. For our one fan. Yay.
Once again, the topic of conversation swings wildly into territories we would not have expected beforehand. This time, it’s horse saddles, and the fact that Rhianna is a stupid bint.
We get together for another natter, and, this time, it get’s surprisingly serious as the contents of Tesco burgers, American gun laws, and the effectiveness of left/right wing governments all get discussed.
And lots of “your face” jokes.
It’s time for the latest Dead Beak Podcast, in which we spend a great deal of time talking about an entirely different podcast that we all used to be part of. Also, much insulting, jibing, and, possibly, silent crying away from the microphone.
For our fourth Dead Beak Podcast, we randomly pressed record and captured all the random gibberish that went on. Joined, once again, by Yas (off of YAFCast), we talk about… well, I’ll be honest, it was over a week ago, and I can’t remember what we talked about.
But I’m sure it was very entertaining.
It’s time for the third Dead Beak Podcast. This week, we have recurring special guest; Yaz Clark (off of YAFCast), and first time special special guest, Eatturnip. Continue reading
Well, it was bound to happen. We got together in an ill-fitting virtual room, pressed record, and the second Dead Beak Podcast happened. Painfully. Continue reading
In BriefA down-on-his-luck ex-soccer player, injured during a rigged match, joins forces with a former monk to assemble an unlikely team of players — the monk’s awkward Shaolin brothers — harnessing the discipline and power of kung fu.
Tenuous LinkThis weeks film was Shaolin Soccer, another film with shaolin in the title is, well, Shaolin. Shaolin stars the amazing Jackie Chan, who has also starred in the Rush Hour movies alongside Chris Tucker. Chris Tucker has played Chris Tucker in a lot of movies, but my personal favourite is Fifth Element. Fifth Element features a small but fun cameo from comedy legend, Lee Evans. Lee Evans has said that he doesn’t like the Hollywood life, and probably won’t do much, if any, acting again, but he didn’t make that decision before starring in the 1998 comedy, There’s Something About Mary. Mary, played by Cameron Diaz, famously uses a certain man-fluid as hair gel. Another hair product is hair spray, and a film by the name of Hairspray was released in 2007 in which John Travolta drags up and plays the cuddly woman, Edna Turnblad. Travolta is perhaps best known for his dancing moves in Saturday Night Fever, in which he dances to the Bee Gees “Staying Alive”. Bee Gees starts with a “B”. Robin doesn’t start with a “B”, but it does have a “B” in it, and Robin Wright played the character of The Princess Bride in the 1987 classic, The Princess Bride.
Stop making out and take your hand out of that policeman’s rectum. It’s time to settle down with a big ol’ lump candy floss – hold the person – for this week’s YAFCast. If there’s one thing worse than clowns, it’s killer clowns. And Killer Klowns from Outer Space is our movie this week. For goodness sake, don’t put your hand in that stringy vagina car!
An alien band of clowns descends from the cosmos to harvest victims, cocooning their prey in cotton candy to eat later. But the joke is on the clowns when two teens armed with an ice cream truck battle to save their friends in this cult favorite.
The film we watched this week was Killer Klowns from Outer Space which was brough out in 1988, another film bought out at the same time is Die Hard. The main actor of Die Hard is Bruce Willis who plays officer McClane. A variation on that name is MacLean. Kristin Scott Thomas Stars as Annie MacLean in The Horse Whispered which is yama’s favourite film. Another one of yama’s favourite films is Pretty woman which stars Julia Roberts, Julia earnt $300,000 for her role in that film, 10 years later she starred in Erin Brockivich where she made $20,000,000, a substantial amount more. Erin Brockovich was directed by Steven Soderberg and for my not so tenuous but terrible link, another director called steven is stephen chow who is the director of next weeks film, Shoalin Soccer a cantonese film which was brought out in 2001. Get ready to kick some grass!
After months of talking, procrastinating, playing video games, doing other things, and just a little bit of masturbation, we finally managed to record the first Dead Beak Podcast. There’s laughter, tears, surprise guests, and very strange noises. Continue reading
